Introduction
CREW-KINGS TRANSFER Foils are available in the pre- coated heat activated adhesive range. CK foils can be transferred on leather by Hydraulic press , Fusing machine and Continuous Hot Roller machine . Transfer conditions by hydraulic press are indicated below.

Pre-Transfer Conditions

The Crust should not have any prior finishing and free from dust and moisture.
For best results crust can be toggled before transfer.
Unwanted, folded portion of the leather should be trimmed to get best transfer results.
The plate of the Hydraulic Press should be pre-heated to the required temperature before transfer.
CK Metallic Foil is pre-coated with adhesive layer but for better adhesion customer can use binder . Apply any soft Acrylic or PU binder. (dilution of binder with water in the ratio 1:2). Dry either in the open air for a few minutes or pass through a drying tunnel at 60 C to 80 C. The curst should be tacky on touch (in case of Acrylic Binder) before attempting transfer. In thicker leathers two cross coats may be required.

ALL CK FOILS ARE AZO, CHROME AND CADMIUM FREE. PRODUCTS ARE SAFE FOR USE FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS.

Transfer Method
Place the CK Transfer Foils on the crust and cut to appropriate size, ensuring that the complete crust is covered. Now place the crust in the Hydraulic Press and position the Transfer paper on top of the curst. The coated portion of the foil should be in contact with the leather.

Post Transfer
After successful transfer , keep the leather for at least four hours for maturation . This will give best results in terms of adhesion, scuff and gloss. Peel - off the release carrier and if required one can use post transfer processes like toggling , molissa, dry mill or kiss plate .We suggest customer to use kiss plating at 50-60 ÂºC for Metallic foils to get extra-ordinary results for goods and shoe applications.

Packaging : The product is wrapped up in reinforced carton tubes, with internal diameter of 76 mm and protected by a thick bubble film.

Warehouse stability : The product is kept in a dry place at a temperature ranging from +5Â°C. to +25Â°C. with closed packing. Store in a dry place . Do not superimpose material or weights and stockpile the rolls vertically. Use the product preferably within 12 months.

Special precautions : We strongly recommend that customer always carry out the sample transfer trials on the press before starting the commercial transfer for precisely fixing the procedure, the production time and the effect that you customer want to achieve .Referring to the several feasible methods and ranges of the product, CREW KINGS accepts no responsibility for incorrect or illegitimate use.
